Richard Czepek attended the first part of the meeting to discuss accommodation for the Walking Weekend 2016. DM tabled ideas that other walking groups had used as did HS re information about a hotel used previously by RWG. It was agreed that RC will continue to investigate all options and meet with the committee at 2pm on Friday 6th November at DM’s house.

Approved and Signed.

Rights Of Way
DM has been in touch with the Rights of Way Officer with regard to RWG maintaining a section of footpaths. DM explained the commitment needed. It was felt that to maintain part of the Herefordshire Way was not an option for RWG.

New Year’s Walk
Sue and Jon Powell have volunteered to lead the walk, a lunchtime venue has been chosen and morning coffee/tea will be funded from RWG funds.

Round the Houses
Is on the calendar and arrangements are almost complete

Summer Picnic
DM will thank the organisers for another successful afternoon

Annual Dinner
HS has booked the Chase Hotel for 14th April. Tickets £25.95

Urgent request to encourage members to publish walks for Dec and Jan

After some discussion it was felt that RWG would not be liable under the copyright laws for archiving walks that had previously been part of a publication as walks are not copied in full.
