Forward Planner has a few walks published. It was agreed that more members need to lead walks and new members will be encouraged to do so.

There are 95 members

Bank balance/net funds at 7th January 2017    £3,617.21

Donations during Round the Houses raised £114.08.  £50 was donated by the Club therefore a total of £164.08 was given to Ross Community Larder

6th April 2017 at Ross Golf Club. Leaving at 10am there will be a 3 mile walk followed by coffee at 11.30am. Coffee will be funded by the Club. AGM at 12 noon followed by a buffet lunch at 1pm. Buffet cost -£10ph.
Details of the format of the AGM will be sent to all members as a flyer and members will be asked to pay for, and book lunch, in advance of the meeting.

All nomination forms will be sent to members by the middle of February.

Membership fees will be collected at the AGM but will continue to run March-March. Fees will remain at the half rate for another year.

35 deposits have been received and ‘Chairman’s Chat’ will advertise the remaining 4 places.
£100 has been paid for 100 shares in HF Holidays which pays for membership to the holiday group. Programmes should now officially state ‘affiliated to HF Holidays’ under the Club logo.
HF Holidays have requested the names and addresses of all our members. Members will be asked for approval as part of their Club membership renewal and information will be given via ‘Chairman’s Chat’.

John Smart tabled a document comparing the insurance offered by HF Holidays as part of their membership against our present insurers, Zurich. It was agreed to continue to pay the Zurich fees.

David Mason will be the Clubs point of contact for HF Holidays.

Hilary and John Smart were thanked for all their hard work in organising the holiday.

The next Committee may wish to consider reintroducing the Annual Dinner.

PC will look into a 1st Aid course and a Heart Start course which could be offered to any member who would like to take part. There will a cost involved for the 1st Aid course.

John Smart will research how to use a mobile phone in an emergency if there is no phone signal. Details will be distributed to members.

All accidents should be recorded in the booklet in each medical kit. Members will be reminded of this in ‘Chairman’s Chat’.

David Mason thanked all the committee for all their hard work and support. John Smart thanked David for his excellent leadership.
