Route:            Along lane to Coppett Hill and on to Welsh Bicknor and Courtfield Monastry.  Down river for a lovely stretch of the Wye Valley Walk.  Opposite Severn Sisters take the long climb up Coppett Hill to return via lane to Goodrich.  Some stiles, 2 long climbs and Coppett Hill.

Route:            A steep ascent through forest to Pen Y Gadair Fawr and on to Waun Fach.  Descend northwards to Blaen Grwyne Fawr and on (to Lord Hereford’s Knob, then back) to trig point and down spur to Blacksmith’s Anvil and descend to car park.  Mountains with steep climb early in the walk.    If weather is inclement another attempt will be made to walk on Thursday 20th January

Route:       Repeat of last year’s popular walk and lunch cruise.  Walk through Mailscot Wood to Biblins then along river to join short cruise for picnic lunch on board.  No stiles but steep climb back up to Yat Rock.

Route:  Across country to Parkway then uphill through woods to a ridge with view for coffee.  Continue along the edge of Coneygree Wood and down into Eastnor.  Cross into Eastnor deer park. Walk along the Ridgeway to Netherton Farm then a gentle climb to the obelisk for lunch.

Route:  From CP across fields/lanes to Burghill village. Return via fields, lanes and tracks, slight inclines to Brienton and Kings Acre.

Route:  From remains of Clydach ironworks to canal at Gilwern, then return along the towpath and take steady uphill with good views.   A wealth of industrial archaeology is evident throughout the walk.

Route:  From Cwmyoy climb steadily up Hatterall Hill.  Along the ridge to descend to Llanthony Priory.  Return along the river Honddu valley to Cwmyoy.

Route:  Tintern Abbey, along disused railway.  Climb through Black Morgan Wood to Offa’s Dyke path.  Descend  through Caswell Wood.  Good climbs, great views

Route:  South from Woolhope through orchards, fields and lanes to Sollers Hope Church.  Return via Alford’s Mill.  Attractive rolling countryside.  Quite a lot of high stiles.

Route:  Half Ross Round, the hilliest part of Ross Round.  Through Penyard Woods to Parkfields, Deep Dean, Howle Hill, back to Ross via Home Farm.  Two steep climbs.

Route:            Down River to Weir End and Peterstow. On to Broome Farm for Cream Tea (£5).  Return via Bridstow and Wilton Castle.

Route:         Via River Tach Fechan to Pantsam Viaduct, Morlais Castle visiting sites of historical and archaeological interest. Return on other river bank.   Much of walk on tramways and Taff Trail.  One short steep climb using hand holds out of a quarry which makes it Grade 3.
